Here you see a situation which forces us be deep in thought. Player has 4 jacks. It's very good: this set values in 14 points. But he has no aces. 4 aces are better combination then 4 jacks. Player can hinder to opponent to collect 4 aces by exchanging of maximum cards (5 or at least 4). Then probability to get an ace is enogh big. He has also 4 spades and there is a possibility to fight for most cards in one suit and longest run of consecutive cards. Though player has only 4 spades and 2 hearts (it means that opponent may have 6 hearts), there is a hope that among 5 cards for exchange are two spades or 1 spade and 1 heart. Obviously we found one more reason to exchange as many cards as possible. |

Here you see result of exchange. Player got ace of diamond, 4 jacks are now senior set (14 poins). He got also king of spades. Opponent hasn't 4 consecutive cards. You may deduct it by cards on picture. So KQJ10 are senior run of consecutive cards (4 points). As to MOST CARDS IN ONE SUIT: K Q J 10 8 are 48 points. Opponent may have 5 hearts: A Q 10 8 7. But it's only 46 points. So player scored 5 poins more. He won after announcements 23 : 0. I guess that exchange was succesfull. May be player will score not too many points for tricks, but it's very difficult to win everything. |
